Technology Evaluations Process:

• Evaluation team (identified in your strategy phase of requirements gathering) should include all stakeholders (technical and business).

• The evaluation team should have voting rights that will be honored by executive management.

• Evaluation team should use a balanced score card approach for final recommendation (% on requirements, price, vendor client history, demonstrations, POC, etc) and follow the stated process in the RFQ for evaluation.

• Understand who the vendor proposes to use for your project (if the vendor cannot provide exact resources, then require that a skills matrix be provided with minimal experience requirements for the staff).

-  Include both a process and technology POC in your evaluation.
